Compare that to a purchase on the Internet in your e-mail reminder. You send them an e-mail. The e-mail tells them about your special offer that interests them. All they have to do is click on the link that you put on the e-mail to go right into your store on your site.
All the information is in front of them so they can make an informed decision. When they decide this is what they want, this is the product they need, fill out the order form and if your product is music, digital, if it’s printed material that they can download, software, they have the product instantly, right there, right then.
At worst, they are going to get it in two days through the mail. So what have you done? You have eliminated the delay between the saying “I want it” and “I’ve got it”. And we know that the longer that delay, the more likely is the customer will get sidetracked and not place that order.
Essentially e-mails bring your prospects to your store instantly, and it’s free. That’s right, it doesn’t cost you a cent! So build repeat traffic and more sales with your e-mails.
