gun fighting history, and the cattle drives. Milwaukee’s known for beer. People collect old beer steins, old beer bottles, and beer signs that light up like Hamm signs. They’ll sell for a fortune!
New York is known for a lot of things. One of them is diamonds and jewelry. California, on the other hand, is the home of a lot of computer companies.
These examples are just the tip of the iceberg. You could specialize in products from other countries. You could import if you’re Irish, French, Italian, or whatever, and sell it on these Sites. The main thing is to look for what’s right under your nose.
When you go to e-Bay and you look at the items up for bid, there is a whole category called “Things from Hawaii.” They have hula apparel, accessories, and general items. Maybe they’ll have a category for some of these other things from different areas: Hollywood or Las Vegas.
What’s your town’s claim-to-fame? Wherever you live, try to see what is unique about the area, what they export, what’s the tourist attraction, what is the area known for. Since it’s so abundant in your area, the price is low. In Hawaii you can pick their things up cheap - once you bring it back over here to the mainland, then it has a premium on it!
